Hopping on a bandwagon

I’m sitting awake in the middle of the night for no good reason other than that I woke up and found myself unsettled and unable to go back to sleep. Sitting up, eating rice snacks, drinking milk and perusing the blogs in my Google reader I happened upon this entry on Pea Soup and was struck by the project she’s taking part in.

It involves taking photos from the same spot in a range of different lights and seasons and making a mosaic of them. It has been called the Alice Project after it’s originator and has been taken up by a few people. At 2 in the morning it seems like a fantastic idea, so I’m jumping on the bandwagon.

I’m not sure exactly where to take my picture from at this stage. I’m considering standing on the nature strip, looking back at the house (would tie in with my plan to replant the front yard and document it), or choosing spot in the back yard, or somewhere away from home. When I decide, I’ll post the photos individually on here and organise them into mosaics at various stages to see how it shapes up.
